I can appreciate where you are coming from, but I suspect that you'll have a hard time finding just what you want without some legwork and phone calls. In my case my 55 is in winter storage and won't see the sunshine until sometime in April or May. Even then, with the engine and all components in place, it'll be hard to get the pictures that you'll need.
Your best bet is to take the pictures you need yourself from an existing car. Check online for local car clubs, in particular Thunderbird clubs in your state. You may be able to find an owner who has restoration pictures that he'll share with you, or is willing to let you photograph and take measurements of the areas you require.
You might even contact Amos Minter (go online to their site). They do restorations on 55-57 TBirds exclusively. Someone in their shop may be willing to send you a bunch of digital pictures of a 55 just before or after it comes out of their paint shop and before assembly of the car. You never know .... a humble request by phone might just find a friendly ear. Good Luck!
