Does anyone know of a website that has a photograph of a Ford, preferably a Thunderbird, that correctly illustrates the color Honey Beige?
I am the third owner of an older restoration, '61 driver that codes out to Honey Beige, but is a creamy white. We know it had been painted, but were led to believe that it had not been changed in color. I bought DuPont paint chips that illustrate Honey Beige for 61 Fords - specifically Lincoln Continentals and Thunderbirds - as what we would call taupe in everyday terms, a sort of grayish tan. I am aware that my monitor may not display a particular color with guaranteed accuracy, but what I am most interested in is seeing if the car is supposed to be white or tan. |
