Sagging on the side
Gary; My 62 was also low on the drivers side when I bought it. My drivers side leaf spring was obviously slightly flattened so I went ahead and replaced the leaf springs and all 4 shocks. This helped but did not even it up 100%. Mine sags about 3/4 inch on the drivers side. I have since purchased the front coil springs but have not installed them yet. I'm pretty sure that is going to fix my problem. From what I've read, replacing the front coil springs is not a job for a backyard mechanic due the heavy duty springs. I'm going to get mine done at a local garage.
Regards, Keith |
