History
My dad bought it for my mom in 1965. It was painted black by the first owner. My parents kept it and drove it for many years until garaging it for the past 20 years. I drove it for the first time when I was 17. In 1996 my dad died and that was the last week it was driven. It was in my moms garage since 96 and she passed away in December 2011. I couldn't bear the thought of the car leaving our family so I shipped it here to San Francisco and the work began. I drove it for the first time...again...in 2013, over 20 years. I'm 38 now. The bodywork is almost finished, interior almost finished and in a couple months it will be ready to go.

From factor Torch red. 1st owner painted it black. I'm taking it back to Torch red. Trunk was modified to prevent gas theft...the original owner closed/smoothed out the trunk so no more gas flip top. I decided to keep it that way since it is the way I have always known it.
