Could it be?
For those of you who read my thread about my finds this past June, you would know I got a bunch of Classic T-Bird stuff. I was going through one of the boxes and found this old script badge. I think it's a '55-'57, what do you guys think? If it is I'm probably keeping it!

Yes, its from a small bird, 55-57, and they are not rare at all. Many used ones show up on eBay simply because there are new chromed reproductions available from many sources, and they are fairly cheap to buy. Rechroming an old one, such as you have, would cost much more than buying a new one. The 2004 price for a reproduction was $24.95, according to a NPD catalogue I have from that year.
That as it may be, it might make a great wall ornament for the garage or family room. |

Actually, the chrome ain't that bad. I've always loved the early birds. There is a guy down the street another neighborhood with a '56-'57 sitting under a tarp. Been there for years, but doubt he would sell it, knowing my luck with cars. :(
