Source for Quality Suspension Parts

Starting the rebuild with the Rear suspension, differential and brakes. Want to purchase new rear springs, shackles, etc - and then move to the front suspension.

Any tips for vendors who sell quality, US-Made Suspension and Steering Parts for the rebuild ?

Also - do T-Birds use the same steering box as the full size Fairlanes ? I ask because Borgeson is coming out with a power steering box for the Fairlanes within the next month (per their tech support line).

If your looking for new sway bars, Larry's sells a kit for front and rear. It says it is made buy "Teamco" but I have heard from a source that it is Hotchkis who makes it. If you put Hotchkis #2277 next to "Teamco" there is no difference and the installation instructions are exactly the same. It has changed the way my '57 handles completely. 1000% better.

Did you fit stiffer sway bars front and rear?

The Teamco/Hotchkis is stiffer both front and rear. I did not mention that I only have the rear bar and dog legs installed which are 7/8" hollow. The front will go in soon. It is also 7/8".
