'57 Lower door stop
I am redoing the window of my '57 and there was no access plate nor a lower window stop. I have purchased a window stop but can't determine where to mount it on the door. Possibly the access plate? Anyone have any knowledge of this? Thanks.

The access pannel has a bolt about dead centre that is recessed towards the centre of the door. The back side of this panel had a bracket that held the window stop. Pictures of both the access panel and the bracket with the rubber stop are in the Hill's 55-57 Thunderbird Catalogue for 2011. They have used panels for sale (call them @ 800-562-1955) and new brackets at $14.65 and rubbers at $1.35, or go to their website: thunderbirdcenter.com
