new owner looking for 1955 tbird jack assembly

I just bought my first classic car.
Does anyone know where I can get a jack stand for a 1955 tbird?

Welcome to the club!

You are going to have to do the same as everyone else who buys a first generation TBird, search the flea markets around the country, and watch eBay for one. And be prepared to pay top dollar.

My small bird came with its original jack, but several others purchased from the same restoration shop did not. I recall one of the new owners describing how much the originals were going for online, and bemoaning the high dollars being asked. That was about 8 years ago, and I don't think it'll be any better today.

try jerry at bird brains in oregon or get a hold of an early bird magazine and there are some venders there
