Go here to see what the choices were. Classic Thunderbird Data Plate Decoder This does not show what went with what though. Back in the early TBird years, there was quite a bit of lienancy is selecting what interior you wanted, although there were some interiors that could not be had with certain body colors.

The reprint of the 56 Sales Brochure states you can choose one of "five gay all-vinyl interiors..." Yes it does use the word "gay". Different time - different meaning.
![]() It does list combinations but as Paul said there was a lot of flexibility. eg: It shows only White and Green interior for Thunderbird Green exterior. Mine has White and Brown interior and also on the Data Plate (ZE-XG). Note that the "E" is Colonial White hard top. If your Plate does not have a letter after the body color it did not come with a hard top. Bottom line is that if you want original, follow your data plate. If you want something else then anything you want would go with the White and Black I would think.
