Dual Quad
Found an aluminum dual quad manifold & carburetors in the attic of an old mechanics shop. The manifold has a Ford oval, but the carbs are Rochester. Looks like a 'Y' block manifold. My 61 has an 352 'FE'. Did the early models have factory dual quads?

This could be one of two things. The first is that some one tossed the teapots and put the Rochesters on it.
The second scenerio is that the setup up you have is for a Mercury. A very rare item if this is so. I know 56 Mercs used Rochesters (or was it Carters?), don't know about 55 or 57. This could be either a 56 or 57 manifold. They were not the same. Quote:
