Flex plate and torque converter install

Does anyone have the procedure to reinstall the flex plate, shim(s) and torque converter for a 57 ford-o-matic transmission? I need to know where the shim goes and the proper alignment. Also is there an easy way to put in the trans after the converter is attached to the engine?
