Handling improvement for my '57

I have read that the simplest and most effective handling improvement for the Early Birds is to install heavy duty gas shocks , heavier front sway bar, and a rear sway bar. Any comments? Also, any experience with the "tuned" sway bar set sold by Larry's Thunderbird?
