windshield washer pump
 

I started the restoration of a 1955 Tbird 5 years ago. After a couple of years I set the car aside due to my wife's illness. Well I have decided to finish the project and give the car to my daughter. Anyway, I can no longer remember where the windshield washer pump goes. Is the entire pump in the car or does just the rod and pad reach into the interior? If so how does it mount. I have tried to find a picture on the web and haven't had any success.

I am down to these details and then I will be done so chasing a few rabbits right now.

If I remember correctly the pump mounts to the outside of the floor and there is only the pedal sticking up inside the car. I've attached a page from one of my books.
