1957 Thunderbird power steering leak
 

My '57 T-Bird's power steering ram (hydraulic cylinder) leaks when I turn it to full lock right, but not full look left. It leaks where the stainless rod extends from the ram. I guess there might be a seal there. At full lock right, the ram is full extended. Is this likely to be the relief valve in the p/s pump? Not sure what I should pull out first. The power steering makes a pretty horrible noise on full look, either full right or full left. Cheers, Lloyd
