What gas mileage do you get?

I recently began measuring my mileage, which is a consistent 10.4 mpg, which seems a little low. My '55 is all stock, engine, carb, tires, etc. Otherwise it runs great. What mpg do you get?
Thanks all, Rick

Not the same model but in my '65 I'm currently averaging about 14 on a trip, which means some interstate driving, some 2 lane, very little city. It will go down to mid 10 if all I do is local driving. I'm currently working on improving that with some tuning, basically getting as much ignition advance as possible. Mine's a 4400# car, 3.00-1 gear ratio, 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic, 390 with a mild hydraulic roller cam and EFI.

Anyone have any mpg calcuations on the 292 Baby Birds? I guess I have just lost track of what we got at 29¢ / gallon. :)
