Iam in need of a soft top with the swing arm for a 55. Are there any good used ones available, if not where do I find a repro? :)

Here are some options for you to consider in addition to shopping for a used top from a private party.
(1) Thunderbird Center is an excellent T-Bird dealer in Hazel Park, Mi who carries a full line of new parts and many used items. They are near the intersection of I-75 & I-696. Order No.: (800) 562-1955

(2) Prestige Thunderbirbird has a nice "driver quality" repro soft top w/o swing arm.
(800) 423-4751

(3) Jewels Body Shop carries an excellent quality repro top that many say it can't be distinguished from the factory top. (929) 756-2549.

Used '55 tops used to be easily found and reasonable, because everybody wanted the later top used in late '56 & '57.

Happy Hunting, Tom

Thanks for the info. I have done some busines with the T Bird Center and will pursue the soft top with them as well as the others you mention.
