Question Window Regulator Safety Relay Location

I'm trying to find the location of the safety relay. The wiring diagram is a bit vague as to the exact location. I can get the windows to work if power is connected from the switch to the breaker, but I think there's a problem with the relay. Help me find it, please! Oh yea... does anyone know where I can find a replacement if mine is bad?

On my 66 it's on the passenger side fire wall. There are several outlets that you can get the part. Try The Bird Nest

Thumbs up

Thanks for your help Joe! I'm assuming that you meant it's in the passenger compartment, not the engine compartment and that it's on the firewall, not the kick panel. Right?

No, it's in the engine compartment, passenger side on the fire wall.

If you call the Bird Nest they can tell you where it's located on your car for sure.

It would be helpful to know what year your T-Bird is... 1964 location differs from 1965/66. 1964 is on the passenger side on the engine side of the firewall, below the hood hinge. 1965/66 is near the center of the fiewall, engine side.

My bust... I thought I had listed the year. It's a 64. Thanks for your reply, Fordman.
