65 'bird interior - rear panels / interior dye

Hello all, I am new to the forum and have a question - I am restoring a 65 'bird, hard top and cannot seem to find some interior parts. I have found the door panels but cannot find the rear side panels (below rear quarter glass) to match the door panels. All I can find is those plastic "covers" that slip over the existing panels for the rear. I plan to get the door panels and need help finding the rear.

Let me know if you know where I can get the real rear panels OR if you have used those plastic "covers / overlays" - how did they look ?

Also, does anyone make the dye to match up with the interior color ? It is a light green / gold color. On my trim tag it reads :

63A-body

“C”-Color

28-Trim

DSO-72

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Ronnie

Well they should be available, There on ebay all the time. You could also try one of the suppliers like Pat wilsons T-birds. 64 and 65 have a different vinyl design then 66. Also Conv. panels are different

Thanks Bob, I have been watching Ebay without any luck (yet). I have noticed that many of the Tbird parts suppliers don't use Ebay much - I was wondering if you (or anyone else) knew what outlet I can purchase them from ? I have checked Birds Nest and several others and I haven't located them yet.

Any experience with those plastic "overlays" for the rear panels or door panels ?
