Red face 65 Turn Signals/Stop Lights

Having problems with the sequential turn signals on my 65 Bird. I have replaced the motorized sequencer with a new electronic one and then had no lights at all. Reinstalled the old motorized one and still have no lights. Got a new electronic sequencer, installed it and still have no turn signals, but I do have 2 brake lights on one side and one on the other. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

There is a stop and turn relay in the area where the sequential motor pack is. Replace it and ck. for burned out bulbs. Also ck the ground connections.

Do the turn indicator lights on the fenders light up? If not you may have a bum turn indicator lights relay (under the dash, right side-three prong) You can hear it click when it's working right.

Wondering...

If you were able to locate your problem. I think the electronic unit replaces both relays in the trunk and the sequencer, right? Your other suggestion was the relay under the dash. That makes some sense. Did you try to replace it? Mine flashes only most of the time, but when it doesn't flash the light on the fender only pulses and the third light doesn't work. I think I'll try to replace the relay under the dash on mine as well, based on Joe's suggestion.

The system is designed to flash the indicators when four bulbs are illuminated. One light being out will cause the indicator to NOT complete it's cycle. Don't try to fix the indicator lights until you get the sequential lights working.. Of course, you can easily bypass the indicator relay under the dash.
