The 64 model did not have sequential tail lights from the factory, but it's easy to install them. I have it on mine.
What I DON'T have at my fingertips is the name of the company that makes the modules. I can dig around if you need me to. But the module (s) is electronic, and the kit contains two of them -- one for each tail light.
In my case, I removed each tail light; I also replaced the sockets (new ones are available from NAPA). I wired the module according to instructions, and neatly tied the module to the back of the tail light itself. When all is said and done, there will be one new wire (per side). This wire needs to be routed to the front dash area, and according to instructions, connected to the turn signal indicator. Yes, on this car it's fender mounted, but you have wiring at the base of the steering column you can connect to. BUT -- don't use the indicator. Instead use the front turn signal light. The indicator come on alternately with the lights themselves, in other words the indicator comes on when the lights go off. So use the front light.
The reason for this additional wire is to let the module know if the light is on for the turn signal or the brake. If not connected, the lights will sequence with the brakes too -- somebody may think this is cute but it's not correct.
I've had mine for several years and it still works great -- seems more reliable than the rest of the car.
