I've replaced them but always used a good used one painted to match if necessary. I sold all my spare pieces awhile back or I would help you out with one.

The only thing I can find locally (Arizona) is the guy on Ebay selling overlays. Not sure they will hold up in this heat.

I havent seen a finished dash with an overlay for one of these years. I have seen them on a 87 I had but it required alot of trimming and adjusting to get a passable fit. All in all it wasnt bad except I knew it was there and it was a different grain. Most of the places I know of are over here in the east where I am but one you might try is T-Bird Sanctuary, they have alot of parts & cars and although they are in Oregon its alot closer than NY shipping wise if thats the way you decide to fix it. Remember if you do swap the dash you will need to take off the cowl trim panel to get 2 hidden bolts out otherwise the thing will not budge.
