64 Power windows
I recently bought my 64 Tbird. Always one of the cars on my wish list :) The driver side window motor is the only one in and working. The passenger side window motor and driver side quarter window motor are out of the car. Can anyone tell me how to check for power in the three prong plug. It doesn't seem to have power No matter how I try. What am I doing wrong here??

I have not checked the switches yet. I am just starting to investigate what is really going on. I bought the car as is with 2 of the four motors out of the car. Seems a little odd that 3 of the window motors would be bad at the same time.

I am probably stating the obvious, but don't forget that you may have a 5 switch control in the console. If so, the one horizontal switch is the lockout for the power going to the back windows. My experience is similar to yours in the respect that only one window worked when I got my car. In my case, the issue was with the switches themselves. No problems with the wiring; but the switch contacts would not make the circuit.
