p/s, trans fluid question
1966...Manual states to use trans fluid in the power steering pump. Since I'm not that knowledgable with these fluid types, I'll ask 2 basic questions:
1. Can I use "regular" or "modern" power steering fluid instead? 2. If no, then can I use modern trans fluid? I forgot what it's called but the manual stated some special fluid for the trans (probably not that special in 1966 but I never heard of it). I guess I just need to know, what fluids can I use in the p/s pump and the trans for a 1966 w/ C6??? Thanks all, and please excuse my ignorance :)

Use type F or type FA transmission fluid.
