Getting Oil Filter off '97 bird

These are kind of a pain. You almost have to route the filter around the power steering line and the sway bar. I have had to do many of these and it works better if the wheels are "hanging". No ramps, just a jack and jack stands are what you will have to use. Takes a bit but it will happen.

Get a spider wrench from pep boys. wrap some duct tape on the filter (so not to scratch it.) and use your socket set to take it off. Works well for fuel and oil filters. Good luck
