Hi, I'm a Newbie, need some info on wheels
I recently purchased a '61 tbird sports roadster. From what I have seen, several '61 tbirds have the Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels. Was this an upgrade option for the '61? I was under the impression that it was only an option for the '62-'63. Also, where would I be able to find or purchase the Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels? Any help that you may have would be greatly appreciated, THANKS!

there were no sports roadsters built in 61 someone has added the tonneau cover etc. to the car. just about any t-bird parts supplier sells the wire roadster wheels. be sure to buy the 54 spoke and not the 48 spoke if you plan to put any miles on the car
