Where is neutral safety switch ???
Have a loaded 76 bird with a 460 v8, with intermittant spark. Tries to start when you let off the key. We are trying to locate the neutral safety switch and can't find it . Anyone know????

I doubt that the neutral safety switch will be the problem. Would expect the starter relay to be defective first. ( My parts book doesn't go to 1976.)

If your car still has the C-6 transmission as Ford built it, the switch is on the transmission.
