Noobie needs help with 61 bird

Gentlemen Im a 60's car enthusiast. to be honest Ive never owned a Ford but I have a soft spot for a 61 T bird I have my ey on. Again all of my expereince is with my 66 Chevelle SS and 70 Covertible but I want this T bird hard top. I dont know abou them. the car in question is a 61 with the odometer reading 52K. The Chrome is 7/10. Some dents and dings. Its a blue that almost has a purpple hue which makes me thing its not original color and no dount its been sprayed. Top is white. Has original 390 motor and trans. I see not rust and think its been garaged most of its life and is a down south car. Has black interior, orig AM radi in dash. Interior is in tact and I think is original. Has original spare and all original trunk items.
I will get pics up soon early this week. Please keep looking and give me you opinion what this car is worth. I will be driving out to it Thursday (190 miles each way) and want to be as informed as possible when I arrive.

Thanks in advance and please keep eye out for pics cause Id love some experienced opinions.

Scott

You would probably get better response if we knew weather or not the car is a running car and what do you intend to pay for it. Is it air conditioned and does the AC work?

I suspect Harley Eaton is talking about WHETHER you have AC and not what the WEATHER is like within the car. (Although, I suppose if it does have AC you will be able to control this to some degree)

Good luck with your purchase. I've had my '63 hardtop for about four years now and love it. They get lots of looks down here in Australia.

sorry so slow to update to the 2 gentlemen who were kind enough to respond. The seller was far from motivated or enthusiastic to sell. He inhereted the car and wouldnt take the time or bother to give me details of the car like the #s off the motor etc. too many red flags so Im letting it go, but thanks for the interest in the thread. Please do look for my next thread as my eyes are now on a 69 T bird 4 door.
