Which carburator?
 

I am planning on replacing the carburetor on my 61 coupe. Holley or Edelbrock? Is it better to purchase new or try to rebuild the existing carb?

I just rebuilt the original autolite carb on my '63 and it purrs like a kitten.

Having done both, new Holley and re-built Autolite, I'd recommend getting the original re-built. Most recommendations I've read lean that way also...
