my 55 has a t10 of some vintage,,doing tailshaft seal and bushing replacement ,new yoke and u joint i come to find out it is not a richmond as I was told but a borg warner,,try tracing the proper parts around the country,,it still is worth it

Yes, a Ford T-10 is a Borg Warner. It is a good trans and is probably very much a restorers wish item if they have a 62-64 Ford performance car.
I would do a Google search under T-10 for parts suppliers and rebuilders. Both Ford and GM used T-10's so parts should be readily available. I believe Richmond is an after market company that supplies performance trans's.?? GM had Super T-10, maybe a Richmond?? Quote:

well said,,my parts are on the way,,its adapted well and quite a hoot to drive winding the 292 properly,,especially with an almost absurdly unrestricted exhaust,,disturbing the peace happily,,well it will be back in a few days,,my new chrismas upholstry will be the next on the list.best new year
