Guide to replacing a 56 Starter

I am looking for a guide or tutorial to replace the starter on a 56. I searched the forum but did not see anything.

It appear the gear on the bendix had either shattered (found a gear tooth on the garage floor) or fallen off the bendix shaft.

Anyone know of a step by step guide to replace starter and/or bendix? thanks.
