57 Generator bracket bolts

Anyone know the correct length of the two bolts that hold the generator bracket to the front of the block? These bolts don't seem to appear in any of the illustration manuals and are not referenced in any of the parts catalogs. I'm guessing 3 1/4 or 3 1/2. And does it matter if they hold the bracket securely?
