Thanks for asking, but no, the parts are long gone. Wish I could help you. But if I part out one of these Birds, I'll post it here. But so few people are in the market for these year of Birds, it is always a risk to invest in parts. Hope you find what you need.

Does anyone know if this Forum group still exists? I have an 82 bird and am starting to think it's on the endangered list.

You are correct. The 1980-82 Thunderbirds are on the endangered list. I do not know of any T-Bird forum where the owners actually participate regularly in discussion. There might be such somewhere--but I am unaware of it. Shouldn't be that way. But the 80-82 are not very popular. Maybe its time for you to begin a forum for these particular Birds and engender interest and a source of help for those who own these beautiful Birds..

Here's a link to a special forum exclusively for the 1958-60 Birds known as the Squarebirds. You might ask the webmaster (Ray Clark) of the forum for his advice in what to do to get your own 80-82 forum started.
