Trim Question

The 65 I just got has a single piece of trim running from the middle of the "C" trim on the fender, all the way back to the end of the quarter panel (both sides of course). I have only seen 1 other picture of a 65 on the internet with the same piece of trim. Also, there is no reference to it in the shop manual or spec manual. Is this something Ford did at the assembly plant, or the doings of a misguided individual?

The one picture I saw referred to the car as a 'coupe'.

Thanks

You are referring to optional body side moulding offered by Ford. It is indeed original equipment. I have some if there is an interest.. Harley

thanks for the info. Actually, I do need the short little piece for the drivers fender, if you have one.

Re: the short piece of body side moulding. Is the length 14-3/8 inches, slight curve to fit the fender? I have that one. Tbird5866@aol.com
