Angry Transmission prob

Ok The Trans pulled perfect when I got the car but the fluid was burnt looking and pretty nasty. So I change the fuild and filter now it wont move out of it tracks. I went back and even check the filter to make sure it was on right. So is there anything I need to check or try. Because I hate to go buy another trans if this one aint got much wroung w/ it or nothing at all.

Car is a 93 LX 5.0

If the fluid was burnt up, it looks to me like you had a bad trans, burned seals and all. The old fluid was probably holding things together, and when you put new fluid in, it probably cleaned everything out, which oddly is not a good sometimes. I would recommend an overhaul, or a new trans put in. I had to go through it. If you're anywhere near NY, you could find a cheap but good trans shop for cheap in Huntspoint. But I would recommend putting in a new trans, if you want it to last a long time.
