:leave Hey my 1st post here goes..I gotta '03 that I drive mostly in and out of the driveway..handles way better than my '57's ever did..smoother and quicker than my '85 Elan ever was. My '97 30th anniversary Cougar weren't bad tho. But I also confess to the new 'Bird being a little hard to take first time I saw it :crazy ..but I bought my new bird on a whim in '03 after buying the wrong car and luckily having a 3 day grace period to exchange it. :bigjes ..anyway, I have fallen in love with it. Certainly not the fastest or best handling.. but what a car. Gets better all the time and for cruising Vegas oooh baby. Don't get no better. oh yeah mines Black/Black/Black...Funny older posts re the "new" bird, a few sour grapes maybe. :leave

I feel the same way. Currently own several birds and a 03 Vette, but my 03 Bird will not be leaving soon. Does alot right. If only it had a trip computer/compass , memory seats and a light in the visor. I cant understand why the Lincoln LS with the same dash has all that stuff and they cant put it in the bird. Nonetheless, the little V8 really is quick and shows its 32 valves make a difference. Much more fun than the 57 and almost as many lookers.
