Have a 2002 (bought it new) that gets 15 mph in city, 17-18 mph highway...is that typical?

Depends on driving habits. The 05 we have gets about 15 with the wife driving in town. I drive on trips and get a solid 23 - 24 (type of gas, 91 or 93, 5% or 10%) running with the cruise on 75 - 80.
