I converted my ‘57 tach from mechanical to electronic. Look up D&M Restoration in Greenville, SC. They did a great job on all my gauges. Tach connects by wiire to the coil now.

Reverse lights

I was reading this old post on reverse lights not working and the owner said it was the power source being attached to the headlight switch meaning the reverse lights only work when the headlights...

Can any one tell me what finish they are using on a 57 hood latch mechanism? It seems to be unfinished, but do folks paint them? If so, what color? Thanks.
