i had an 86 thunderbird that had a similar issue but it wouldnt leak due to heat but when i hit 63 or faster i had just replaced the torque converter but didnt even think about the seal considering...

ok i am just curious if anyone has run or seen a bullet bird drag car?? I am thinking of picking up a junker body and doing it but not sure what the implications of puting power like that into this...

i am not sure about "high performance" driving but the drums still just not quite what i am after when it comes to stoping they not quite what i like kinda mushy and gotta put alot of pressure on...

yeah i have read everything on the bullet bird forum :-) but i got the info about scarebird from another thread on the forums. They look solid enough, not like ima be doing any 1/4 mile runs with it...

well i have had them off and the bolts protrude from this side so at least now i have a clue where beneath the dash they are.now as for brakes i am looking up alot of brake conversions but none that...

i bought a whole "new" rebuilt pump for 30 bucks may be easier than replacing the seal which may or may not stop the whinning.

hey marc i had a similar issue with my 62 i tried several times to chainge the fluid to no avail, so i replaced it and still had the same noise and foaming issue what i discoverd was that my inlet...

I am looking to cross referance a vehicle that i can get the front disk breaks off of for my 62 bird as i cant afford the 1000 bucks for an aftermarket setup(even if i could the wife would kill me)...
