rough idle
I have a 93 Tbird SC. After many years and miles its starting to fail me. It has an intermitant miss. I replaced the fuel filter, coil pack, spark plug wires, the plugs and had my DIS tested which was fine. I also checked all the wires from the DIS to the coil pack and they were fine. When the car is cold... it runs fine for 3 to 10 minutes, after it warms up, 1&5 on the coil pack shuts down and its only running on 4 cylinders. Any ideas on my problems???? Computer..?? could the MAF tell the computer to shut down the coil???? Any help for the DIY'er???? Thanks

update
Took the sc to the ford dealership. After 75 dollars, I found out it was my DIS. The dealership said 533 to install a new one. Got one at napa for 170 and it took 5 minutes to install.......... the result......... my thunder chicken is once again a Thunderbird. Prob solved..... hope it helps others.
