1956 Thuderbird 312 V-8 and Automatic
1956 Thunderbird. It has the 312 V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Original motor runs really nice. All the glass is good. It has the optional hardtop included. Its an original black car with black and white interior. It has newer wide white wall tires and the chrome ranges from good to okay. It has some nice options too,power windows, power seat, tach and special touring suspension. The car was used in Europe in the 70's. The paint has nice gloss but does show its age in spots. The trunk is excellent with not rust repair ever. The interior appears to be original and shows its age but is serviceable. The transmission has recently began to slip. Its a rare car in the right color that is considered a Landmark car by collectors and the AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America). The car is a driver not a concours show car.
